Robert L. Perkins Obituary, Death – The community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 68-year-old Robert L. Perkins, who was killed Saturday afternoon in a devastating rollover crash on Alabama State Route 219.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 3 p.m. near mile marker 12, about eight miles north of Valley Grande. Authorities said the vehicle left the roadway for reasons still under investigation, struck a culvert, and overturned violently, leaving the scene of a sudden and tragic loss.

Emergency responders arrived and pronounced Perkins dead at the scene. His passing has left family, friends, and neighbors heartbroken, struggling to accept how quickly a peaceful afternoon turned into an unimaginable tragedy.
