According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 3:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious crash involving a vehicle that had left the roadway and crossed over I-96.

Investigators said the vehicle veered off the highway for reasons that remain under investigation, resulting in a violent crash that claimed the lives of two men and critically injured another occupant.
