According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Norwalk Post, the crash occurred around 7:21 p.m. along State Route 100 near State Route 67. Authorities reported that Clayton was traveling southbound on a 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide when he was unable to negotiate a curve.

Investigators say the motorcycle veered off the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned, leading to fatal injuries. Clayton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Officials have confirmed that the incident remains under active investigation as they work to determine all contributing factors.
