Netsia Philogene Obituary-Death – A tragic rollover crash on Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia claimed the life of a Delaware woman Tuesday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Authorities identified the victim as 31-year-old Netsia Philogene of Claymont, Delaware.

Investigators said the deadly crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near the Columbus Boulevard exit. Witnesses told police that Philogene was driving a black Toyota Highlander and was attempting to merge between two vehicles when the collision happened.

According to authorities, the SUV struck another vehicle, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle then hit a highway barrier and rolled over multiple times before Philogene was ejected from the SUV.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Philogene suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Officials also confirmed that Philogene’s 4-year-old daughter was inside the vehicle during the crash. Fortunately, the child was not physically injured. As a precaution, she was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for evaluation.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.

The heartbreaking crash has left loved ones mourning the sudden loss of Netsia Philogene as authorities continue working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision.

Pennsylvania State Police said the investigation into the fatal crash remains active and ongoing.
