According to the Picayune Police Department, officers were dispatched around 1:20 p.m. on May 13, 2026, to a home located at 301 South Blanks Avenue following reports of a body discovered at the residence. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male inside the home.
The victim was later identified as Eddie Lawrence Jenkins.
