Christopher Guallpa-Lema Obituary, Death; The Danbury community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 18-year-old Christopher Guallpa-Lema, who died Monday evening in a fatal motorcycle crash on Hawleyville Road in Newtown.
According to Newtown police, officers responded at approximately 5:49 p.m. near North Ridge Drive after reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a box truck. Investigators say Christopher was riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle northbound when he struck the rear of a FedEx delivery truck.

Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, Christopher was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities closed Hawleyville Road for several hours while crash reconstruction teams processed the scene and gathered evidence. The roadway was later reopened around 10 p.m. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing.
