According to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred along the I-26 westbound ramp near Septima P. Clark Parkway, commonly known as the Crosstown. Preliminary findings indicate that Meador was riding his motorcycle when he lost control while navigating the ramp, striking a barrier wall.
The force of the impact reportedly ejected him from the overpass, causing him to fall into a parking lot below. Emergency responders arrived quickly and attempted lifesaving measures, but the injuries he sustained proved fatal.
