A deadly three-vehicle collision in Hudson early Wednesday morning has claimed the life of a 43-year-old Akron man, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Trevez Terrell. The crash occurred at approximately 5:34 a.m. on Route 91 near Hines Hill Road. Terrell was driving one of the vehicles involved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Hudson Police Department and the Hudson Fire Department arrived after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle accident. Several people in the other vehicles were injured and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials have not released updates on their conditions.
Authorities say the cause of the crash remains under investigation. The Hudson Police Department is working in coordination with the Summit Metro Crash Response Team to determine what factors may have contributed, including speed, roadway conditions, or other circumstances.
