The communities of Millville and Vineland are united in grief following the sudden death of Emmaliz Rosado, whose life was tragically cut short in a multi-vehicle crash on February 16.
According to police, the collision occurred shortly before 9:15 a.m. on Delsea Drive near Sherman Avenue. Investigators say Rosado was driving a 2005 Honda Civic when it came into contact with a 2009 Ford Flex. The impact caused her vehicle to lose control before it was struck by a 2017 Peterbilt truck.
Emergency crews from the Vineland Fire Department responded to the scene, and Rosado was transported to Cooper Trauma Center, where medical teams worked to save her life. Despite their efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
Friends and loved ones remember Emmaliz as vibrant, joyful, and endlessly kind — someone whose smile could light up a room and whose presence brought comfort to those around her. Her passing has left an immeasurable void among family, friends, and all who knew her.
As loved ones process the loss, her family has shared that details regarding obituary services, memorials, and visitation arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
Though February 16 now marks a day of profound sorrow, those closest to Emmaliz say her legacy will live on through the love, laughter, and connections she shared so freely.
