ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. — A tragic industrial accident on Monday afternoon in Elbert County has claimed the life of 25-year-old Maria Manuela Molina Chavez of Tucker. She was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident, which occurred around 12:51 p.m. on February 9 along Bowman Highway in Elberton.
Emergency personnel, including Elbert County EMS, the Elbert County Fire Department, local first responders, the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, and the coroner’s office, responded immediately to the scene. Officials have not yet released details regarding the specific circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
