She was quickly transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where medical teams carried out emergency surgery in an effort to save her life. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at 7:28 p.m., leaving family and friends in profound shock and heartbreak.
An autopsy conducted on April 25 confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, while the manner of death remains under investigation.
