Xavier Lujan Obituary, Death; The community of Roswell is in mourning following the tragic death of Xavier Lujan, 23, who lost his life in a devastating motorcycle crash on North Main Street Friday night, April 17, 2026.
According to the Roswell Police Department, the fatal collision occurred around 7:50 p.m. near the intersection of North Main Street and Blue Mountain Road in north Roswell. What began as an ordinary evening quickly turned into a fatal incident that left the community in shock.

Investigators with the RPD Traffic Division reported that Xavier was traveling northbound on his motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he clipped the rear of a vehicle that had exited a parking lot on the east side of Main Street. Authorities say the vehicle was attempting to cross the northbound lanes to enter the southbound side of the roadway.
The impact caused the car to spin, and Xavier was ejected from his motorcycle. The motorcycle continued forward and struck a second vehicle before coming to a stop. Despite rapid emergency response, Xavier Lujan was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only rider on the motorcycle.
Officials confirmed that the occupants of both vehicles involved were not injured, though the emotional impact of the crash has been deeply felt throughout the community. North Main Street remained closed for several hours as investigators worked at the scene, reopening around 3:00 a.m.
