
Weld County Road Rage Shooting, Austin Vinion Arrested; Authorities in Weld County, Colorado have arrested a suspect in connection with a road rage shooting that left one man injured on Thursday evening.
According to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 5 p.m. to reports of a shooting near northbound Highway 85 and 37th Street. Upon arrival, they located an adult male victim who had been struck by gunfire. Officials confirmed that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Following an initial investigation that included witness interviews and evidence gathered at the scene, deputies identified 27-year-old Austin Vinion as the suspect in the case.
Authorities later located Vinion at his residence, where he was taken into custody. He is currently facing multiple charges, including attempted second-degree homicide, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
Investigators say the incident appears to have stemmed from a road rage encounter, though further details about what led to the shooting have not been released.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with additional information who has not yet spoken with law enforcement to come forward as the investigation continues.
