Juan Salinas Jr. Obituary, Death; The Cheyenne community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 19-year-old Juan Salinas Jr., who died days after a devastating motorcycle crash that occurred on April 7, 2026.
According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. near West Riding Club Road and Hynds Boulevard. Investigators reported that Juan was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at the intersection. His motorcycle continued forward, striking a fence along the I-25 right-of-way before crossing both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 25. The bike eventually came to rest on an embankment west of the roadway.

Emergency responders airlifted Juan to the Medical Center of the Rockies, where he fought for his life for several days. Despite medical efforts, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on April 15.
