Investigators reported that a 2019 Honda HR-V, driven by a 39-year-old woman from Rockledge, was traveling northbound in the center left-turn lane when it turned left onto Fay Street directly into the path of a southbound motorcycle operated by Pennyfeather. The motorcycle struck the right side of the SUV, resulting in a violent impact.

The force of the collision sent the motorcycle into a 2005 Toyota Camry that was stopped at the intersection, where it struck the front of the vehicle again, further intensifying the crash.

Emergency responders transported Hanandi Pennyfeather to Cape Canaveral Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities confirmed that next of kin has been notified.
