According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. on April 12, 2026, along Alabama 91 near Cullman County Road 649, approximately six miles east of Holly Pond. Authorities reported that the couple was traveling in a 2017 Nissan Rogue when their vehicle was struck by a 2011 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Aaron C. Mitchell, 33, of Hanceville.
