According to the Danville Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Boston Road, near the Danville Regional Airport. Investigators said Samuels was traveling westbound on a 2012 Harley-Davidson Street Glide when a 2022 Nissan Kicks crossed into his path, resulting in a fatal collision.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, and Samuels was transported by ambulance for urgent medical care. Despite all life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced deceased from the injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the Nissan Kicks, identified as 25-year-old Daniel Rashunn Dickerson of Danville, was also transported to a medical facility for treatment. Authorities have not released his condition, and officials say charges remain pending as the investigation continues.
