Becky was traveling in her Nissan Titan when it collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee around 5:32 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred near milepost 156 on Rabbit Ears Pass, a winding stretch of Highway 40. The Colorado State Patrol responded immediately, closing the highway between mileposts 139 and 158 to conduct a full investigation. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes via Highway 131 and Oak Creek to Toponas, then on to Kremmling. Traffic has since been partially restored with alternating lanes, though authorities have not yet provided a full reopening timeline.
