Kent Rotchy and Krysta Rotchy Obituary, Death; The Juliaetta community is mourning following a tragic discovery south of the area, where two residents were found deceased inside their home on Thursday afternoon, according to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said deputies were dispatched around 4:00 p.m. to a residence along State Highway 3 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The caller reported concern after not hearing from the occupants for an extended period.

Upon arrival, deputies located 66-year-old Kent Rotchy and 65-year-old Krysta Rotchy deceased inside the home.
Officials stated that, based on the initial investigation, there is no evidence suggesting that any other individuals were present or involved in the deaths. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the official cause of death has not yet been determined.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with additional updates expected once more information becomes available.
