Şakir Şehirli, born in 1980 in Niğde, was a graduate of Sakarya University. After working in Beşiktaş, he made a life-changing decision in 2008 to dedicate himself to humanitarian service abroad.

He spent many years working in Kenya and Nigeria, where he was known for his sincerity, devotion, and commitment to helping others. Colleagues and friends describe him as someone who lived with purpose and compassion, consistently serving communities in need.
Şakir tragically passed away following an accident last Friday. In accordance with his wishes, he was laid to rest in Kenya, a country where he spent much of his humanitarian work.
He is survived by his wife and two young daughters.
Following his passing, his family is now facing emotional and financial hardship. A fundraising effort has been launched to assist with hospital expenses, funeral and burial costs, and immediate family support needs.
The loss has deeply affected those who worked alongside him, with many remembering him as a selfless individual whose life was dedicated to service and compassion.
