Guerlin P. Caetano Obituary, Death; Authorities have confirmed the identity and cause of death of a man fatally shot in a parking lot in Vancouver earlier this month, as investigators continue searching for the suspect responsible.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers responded early Saturday morning to reports of a shooting at a strip mall parking lot on SE Mill Plain. When they arrived, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite emergency response efforts, the victim later died from his injuries on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Guerlin P. Caetano of Tacoma. Officials confirmed that the cause of death was “complications of gunshot wound of head,” and the manner of death has been officially ruled a homicide.
Investigators say no suspect has been located at this time. Police are continuing to gather evidence and review leads in an effort to determine what led to the shooting.
