Born on May 17, 2000, in Dover, Nolan was the beloved son of Michael and Rhonda (Metzger) Reed. His passing has left a deep sense of sorrow among family members, friends, and everyone who had the opportunity to know him during his life.

Nolan graduated in 2018 from New Philadelphia High School, where he was widely known for his participation in the school band. Music played an important role in his life, and his involvement brought both joy and energy to his classmates and fellow musicians. Teachers and friends remember him as someone who approached music with enthusiasm and dedication.
Following high school, Nolan continued his education at The Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2020. His choice of study reflected a genuine desire to understand and help others, something that was evident in both his personal character and the way he interacted with those around him.
Those who knew Nolan describe him as compassionate, thoughtful, and full of optimism. He had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and appreciated, often offering support or encouragement to friends and colleagues. His kind demeanor and bright outlook on life left a lasting impression on many.
Though his life was tragically short, Nolan created meaningful connections and memories with the people around him. His parents, extended family, and friends are remembering him for his intelligence, warmth, and caring spirit.
