Avery Tres Cassidy Death, Obituary; The community of Palatka is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Avery Tres Cassidy, a 22-year-old resident who passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident. His sudden passing has left family members, friends, and colleagues in deep sorrow as they remember a young man whose life was filled with promise and kindness.
Avery, who was born in Gainesville, Florida, spent his life in Palatka where he became well known among friends and neighbors for his friendly personality and warm spirit. He was a proud graduate of Palatka High School, Class of 2021, and had been working hard to build his career in the electrical trade.
At the time of his passing, Avery was employed with Miller Electric and was in his fourth year of the company’s apprentice program. According to those close to him, he had been eagerly looking forward to graduating from the program in May, a milestone that would have marked the beginning of a bright professional future.
Outside of work, Avery cherished the time he spent with his loved ones, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he adored deeply. Family members say he had a natural ability to lift others’ spirits and was always ready with encouragement, humor, or simply a listening ear.
He also had a strong passion for music and often enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. In his free time, Avery loved the outdoors, frequently spending time hunting and exploring nature, activities that brought him both peace and excitement.
Avery was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Sue Faulk; maternal great-grandmother Goldie Ballard; great-grandparents Charles and Anna Faulk Sr.; paternal grandfather William Cassidy; and uncles Bucky Faulk and Patrick Cassidy.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Jaden Lowe, and her daughter Ella; his mother, Susie Cassidy; his father, Christopher Cassidy (Rhonda); and his brothers, Ashton Christopher Cassidy (Savannah) and Aaron Patrick Cassidy (Taylor). He also leaves behind his maternal grandfather, Charlie Faulk (Joyce), and paternal grandmother, Nancy Rizzo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Among those who will miss him dearly are his beloved nieces and nephews—Karsyn, Rhett, Levi, John Luke, Maxwell, and Walker—who held a special place in his heart. Avery also shared a close bond with Jaden’s family and many friends who say his laughter and compassion made a lasting impact on their lives.
