
The Defiance County community is reeling after a fatal multi-vehicle collision in Adams Township claimed the life of 47-year-old Jennifer Bartlett of Alvordton Thursday night, leaving two others seriously injured, including a juvenile.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:04 p.m. on Domersville Road near Flory Road. Preliminary reports indicate that a northbound Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a juvenile, crossed the center line and collided head-on with Bartlett’s southbound Chrysler Town & Country. The impact forced Bartlett’s vehicle off the road, while the Malibu remained in the roadway. Debris from the collision struck a southbound GMC Sierra, whose driver, wearing a seat belt, was unharmed.
