The Stockfarm community is mourning the loss of Jimmy Mayers, affectionately known as “Bulga,” who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital. He was 49 years old.

Born to Hethline and Hayden Mayers, Jimmy was a devoted father to Malaki and Jayden Mayers. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings—Darius, Yannick, Kevin, Hayden Jr., Marissa, and Sharon Mayers—as well as his sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and an extended network of close friends. His influence and presence touched countless lives in Stockfarm, Yampiece, and beyond, including colleagues at the General Post Office and the staff of the Dominica Broadcasting Corporation.

The body of the late Jimmy Mayers will be viewed at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Deliverance Baptist Church, with the funeral mass scheduled for 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery. The service will be streamed live on DBS Radio’s Facebook page, allowing friends, family, and community members near and far to pay their respects.
