The McCormick Theological Seminary community, along with countless friends and colleagues, mourns the untimely passing of Anthony “Tony” William Thomas. Though his life was tragically cut short, Tony’s presence and spirit left an enduring impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In this season of profound loss, our hearts are with the Thomas family. We hold them in prayer, asking for comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time. The words of Romans 12:15 remind us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn,” and this ancient wisdom—“I am because we are”—guides us as we seek to support one another in sorrow.
