CLEVELAND — Pamela M. “Pam” Schroeder, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved wife, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was 68. Her passing has left a profound sense of loss among family, friends, and the community she served with unwavering generosity and compassion.

Born on April 22, 1957, in Cleveland, Pam grew up surrounded by family and friends who recognized her gentle heart and resilient spirit. A graduate of Maple Heights High School, she dedicated her life to nurturing connections and supporting others. Through volunteer work with local charities, church outreach, and community initiatives, Pam helped countless individuals navigate life’s challenges with dignity and hope.

Pam shared a lifelong partnership with her high school sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Schroeder, whom she married in 1978. Together, they raised two children — Emily (Mark) Williams and Jacob (Laura) Schroeder — and were doting grandparents to Ella, Noah, and Grace. Family was at the center of Pam’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Friends and community members recall Pam’s warmth, generosity, and hospitality. Whether hosting Sunday dinners, tending her garden, or sharing thoughtful gestures, she made everyone feel welcome and valued. An active member of St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ, she served in the women’s fellowship group and led initiatives that strengthened community bonds, guided by a faith rooted in hope and compassion.

Pamela Schroeder is survived by her husband, Rick; her children, Emily and Jacob; her grandchildren, Ella, Noah, and Grace; her sister Susan (David) Murray; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Mullen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home in Cleveland Heights, followed by a funeral service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Community Care Network or St. Andrew’s Outreach Fund, honoring Pam’s lifelong dedication to service.

Pam’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and selfless service. Her legacy will continue through the countless lives she touched, and she will be remembered fondly as a woman whose warmth, generosity, and compassion left a lasting impact.
