Brian’s influence extended beyond the control room. He was admired not only for his technical skill and vision, but also for the way he mentored colleagues and fostered collaboration. Many credit him with elevating the work of those around him, always leading with professionalism, humility, and a calm presence that brought clarity even in the most demanding moments.
Away from work, Brian was a devoted husband and father who found his greatest happiness in family life. He shared a lifelong love of sports with his children, passing down traditions that ranged from cheering on the Kansas City Royals to following football seasons together. He took particular joy in collecting sports memorabilia and using those items to spark stories, laughter, and shared moments with his son and daughter.
Family and friends remember Brian as much for his character as for his career. He was known for his kindness, loyalty, and approachable nature, as well as his signature “dad jokes” that never failed to bring a smile. Brian is survived by his wife, Cheryl (née Olender); his children, Drew Bryson and Brooke Evelyn; his mother, Virginia (née Ott); and his sister, Sandra Pelletier, along with her husband Scott and their children, Emma and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond.
